Lehi Rodeo

Peggy and Larry got us all tickets to the Lehi Rodeo last Thursday night. It didn't start until 8:00 pm so I was a little worried how the kids would do. Luckily Aria took a nice long late nap and didn't wake up until dinner time.

The kids loved watching all of the cowboys and cowgirls riding and roping. I always feel sorry for the poor little calfs.

One of their favorite parts was the motocross guys about half way through the rodeo. They were doing all kind of tricks going from ramp to ramp. Also the little dance contest was pretty funny too. Four little kids about 4-6 years old each had about 30 seconds to show their stuff to the crowd. One little boy was even doing the centipede in the rodeo dirt! Yes, I thought that was pretty gross too.
Grandpa Larry and Chase enjoying the fun. And Alyssa Lou looking so sweet and cute.

We were the last ones to go, all the rest of the family left before the rodeo was over but we stayed until the end. When everyone else left with their crying babies Aria was still squealing, clapping and waving her little flag. Thanks to Tiff for coming along and helping me out with the kiddies while Mike was off at High Adventure Scout Camp. The kids will be extra excited for next year now that they know how much fun it can be.

Fun times with the Staker fam... look at all the diversity we are exposing our children to! The boys loved it, although the motorcycles were their favorite part! Next time I vote we just go to the Moto-Cross! (It's airconditioned and sure smells a lot better!)
