We were there for 2 1/2 hours!! It took forever! First she saw one doctor who wanted to consult with another doctor. They finally pronounced she needed stitches and got her all numbed up. Then it took a billion years for the nurses to get everything together and for the doctor to have a break in between his other patients scheduled for the day. I felt so bad watching her get strapped into the papoose board and the doctor sewing her head back up. Luckily the numbing gel worked because she didn't flinch a bit. She did however abhor the papoose board, as a little baby she didn't even like to be swaddled. When it was all over she had 3 stitches in her beautiful little baby forehead.
Luckily it hasn't fazed her much. After a nap that afternoon she was back to her old mischievous ways and leaving a mess in her wake. Gotta love that resilience.

Oh, Thats so sad! I feel bad.
She's so little.
Laina is the cutest girl ever
Ohhh...so sad! I am always bummed, although it's bound to happen, when my babies get their first scar on their perfect skin! Jackson got stitches by his eye and it has healed pretty nicely.
At least Laina is tkaing it well! Hope it heals quickly!
