We had a lovely Memorial Day. We relaxed a bit in the morning, got some flowers planted, and even got our garden going, finally. We also had a fun get together with our friends. We barbequed up some chicken and had a relaxing dinner together with plenty of time to chat and catch up. Later we moved outside to the back patio, bundled up a bit (it was chilly), and roasted some marshmallows. We got a little more creative and used Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Andes Chocolate Mints instead of the tradtitional chocolate bar. I think the Peanut Butter Cups were my favortie. Yummy!

Chase was in pure heaven. He probably ate 3 or 4 s'mores.

So glad we have such great friends that live just across the street from us!

sounds like a wonderful time! I'm glad you were able to get so much accomplished in spite of the rain we had! We still need to get the garden planted!
